| The Daughters of the Republic of Texas district VIII commissioned Henley to design and create a life size bronze sculpture to Honor the Texas Pioneer Woman. In 1998, the bronze sculpture "Honoring Early Texas Pioneer Women", was placed on the Texas State Capitol grounds. |
